The Job You Will Perform:

Assist journeyman-level mechanics in routine maintenance work as well as performing many duties independently. Duties for IEs include, but are not restricted to, electrical circuit troubleshooting & repair, conduit & wire installation, lighting repair, PLC troubleshooting & repair, drive troubleshooting & repair. Instrumentation & control valve calibration, troubleshooting & repair and HVAC work.

Maintenance Associates will be provided on-the-job training and will be expected to complete IP’s J1 – Electrician Curriculum in order to certify as a J1 Electrician (J1 pay is $33.72) and then complete the Instrumentation curriculum to certify to J3 – I/E (J3 pay is $39.81). This program will take approximately 3 years to complete.

The Skills You Will Bring:

  • One (1) year documented experience in any of the following Maintenance Skill Areas: Instrumentation, Electrical or HVAC
    – OR -
  • One (1) year documented vocational/technical education in the Instrumentation Electrical Disciplines: Instrumentation, Electrical, or HVAC.
    – OR -
  • Completion of the My-Learning 40-hour EI Maintenance Associate (MFG-GMTI-MNT-EI-TRNSFR-TRNG) curriculum prior to applying for the open position
