Responsible for overseeing, coordinating, facilitating, and implementing the businesses integrated managements systems, occupational health & safety and environmental regulatory compliance and continuous improvement activities across all business units. Ensure that all the organization's stakeholders work together to improve the company's quality processes, products, services, and culture to achieve long-term success.
DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Guide, coach, direct and influence quality team to maintain consistency in quality across different products and services across all business units.
- Coordinate, oversee, and administer integrated management systems for the company including for quality and environment, occupational health and safety, food safety management systems, FDA, sustainability (SFI/FSC), and EPA.
- Oversee all external audits for ISO, SFI, FSC, Food Safety and customer required audits. Responsible for ensuring all corrective actions and requirements of the audits are completed.
- Oversee Corrective and Prevention Action Program.
- Oversee all documents, forms, process maps and written procedure programs.
- Ensure Internal Audit Program for the company including addressing all opportunities for improvement and nonconformances found during internal audits.
- Administer all certifications and guarantees required by the customer while ensuring compliance with those claims.
- Coordinate company communications regarding quality related issues.
- Oversee the resolution of quality problems as needed with vendors, customers, quality representatives, and company personnel.
- Ensure the development, implementation, and coordination of company-wide training programs for all company personnel related to safety, environmental, and quality.
- Assist in the development and documentation of company safety programs.
- Ensure new-hire quality and safety orientation program is completed and meets all requirements.
- Review quality assurance standards, existing policies & procedures to evaluate effectiveness of company quality programs.
- Oversee the documentation all corporate and departmental goals and objectives.
- Oversee the documentation on the Management System Review Team’s annual agenda.
- Ensure proper documentation on all product testing is maintained.
- Oversee the annual calibration requirements throughout the facilities.
- Prepare legal notices, postings, and reports as required by government and regulatory bodies.
- Assist Management in the hiring and interviewing of production personnel as related to quality and safety.
- Assist Materials Manager in purchasing quality related equipment.
- Maintain membership in applicable quality associations to stay informed of new developments and trends.
- Comply with company policies and procedures.
- Familiar with company legal and compliance obligations.
- Oversee the Investigation of incidents and monitor medical care.
- Additional duties as assigned by management.
- Attendance is an essential duty of the position.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Required
- Related college bachelor’s degree or combined education and work experience.
- Minimum 5 years’ work experience in related field (TQM, SPC, ISO).
- Audit and compliance background.
Preferred
- Prior work experience in the corrugated industry.
- Engineering background.
- ISO, BRC background.
