JOB INFO:
Western Corrugated Design is looking for an experienced multi-color Flexo Folder/Gluer operator. We are looking for a candidate that would like to continue their career with a growing Company. Successful candidates must have adequate knowledge and apply that knowledge to improve the processes and meet or exceed our customer’s quality requirements.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for all activities associated with running the FFG.
- Monitor box quality to the documented ISO standards.
- Maximize the utilization of equipment by running the machinery at available speed.
- Train and assist Feeder and Stacker with their job duties.
- Comply with all WCD safety rules and regulations.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and housekeeping.
- Perform general preventive maintenance duties per machine schedule.
EDUCATION
High school diploma or GED
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Able to read and follow all instructions
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy. Able to apply concepts of high school math.
Candidates MUST offer the following:
- Prior work experience operating a FFG
- Corrugated Box Manufacturing Experience
- Must be 18 Years or older
- Must be eligible to work in U.S.
Candidates must be able to work any shift, pass background check, drug screen and pre-employment test. The position has a 90 day probationary period.
