As we continue to grow and expand our offerings, we are seeking an experienced Recruiter who understands the unique demands of the corrugated box industry that can help us introduce qualified candidates to prospective employers.
Position Overview
The Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and placing top talent across production, maintenance, operations, sales, design, and management roles within the corrugated packaging sector. This person will partner closely with plant managers, HR, and executive leadership to understand staffing needs and deliver fast, effective hiring results.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for various roles including machine operators, maintenance technicians, designers (ArtiosCAD, CAD), production supervisors, sales representatives, and plant management.
- Source and engage candidates through job boards, industry networks, trade organizations, and proactive outreach.
- Screen candidates for industry-specific skills such as experience with flexo presses, rotary die cutters, gluers, corrugators, and other machinery.
- Screen and pre-qualify candidates for C suite positions, General Manager and Production/Plant Manager positions.
- Coordinate interviews, assessments, and hiring decisions with internal stakeholders.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates.
- Ensure compliance with hiring practices, safety standards, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Experience recruiting in the corrugated packaging, folding carton, paper converting, or manufacturing industry strongly preferred.
- Understanding of key industry roles, machinery, and technical skill sets.
- Proven success in high-volume or specialized recruiting.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
