Our people are our most important asset, and we are looking to expand our production team. Training starts at $21.79. Our Operators make $26.96 plus shift differential.
We work 12-hour shifts, 4 days on with 3 days off. You may be asked to work overtime in addition to the OT hours already built into your schedule. OT over 40 hours is paid at time and ½. Openings are primarily on our split or swing shift, but you should be available to move to either day or night shift if opportunities are open to advance. Richmond Container is a union shop. Virginia is a right to work state; you are not required to join the union however you must respect the Collective Bargaining Agreement. We are a high-speed, high-volume manufacturing facility. Shifts: You must be able to work any of the shifts below.
- Night shift 7PM-7AM
- Day Shift 7AM-7PM
- Split Shift (2) day & (2) nights
- Requires Saturday availability

What you need to succeed:
- Experience with high-speed, high-volume work. Manufacturing experience or similar experience is preferred
- Willingness and ability to operate various manufacturing equipment, follow specific direction, operate powered equipment, and other duties as assigned
- Ability to push, pull, bend, squat, lift, reach and kneel for up to 12 hours a day and push or pull up to 25 pounds on a frequent basis. You must be able to stand for 12-hour shifts. Our plant gets very hot in the summer. We take safety seriously.
- Ability to work daily overtime, weekend work and various shifts depending on your position. We cannot guarantee shift availability
- Ability to read a tape measure and have basic math and computer skills
